LY Corporation, formed by the merger of Yahoo! JAPAN and LINE, has adopted Athenz as the foundation for their access control infrastructure. As part of the merger integration, LY Corporation built Flava, a new internal private cloud platform, to consolidate and enhance the cloud infrastructure from both companies. This unification aimed to combine the best practices and strengths of each organization's cloud solutions while providing a cohesive platform for their services.

At Tech-Verse 2025, LY Corporation presented how they designed and built Flava IAM, the Identity and Access Management system for this new platform. The presentation showcased how Athenz serves as the core authorization engine, enabling Flava to achieve both strong security and practical usability in their real-world cloud environment.
